Visiting this beautiful Italian island with the Rick Steves' tour group was made even more memorable and educational with the experienced leadership of our guide, Stephanie Bergmen. We were also accompanied by an apprentice guide, Mojca Sostako the entire trip. The additional talents and perspectives of our local guides aided Stephanie and Mojca in delivering an unforgettable Sicilian experience.

Stephanie is a transplant from California and is married to a handsome Sicilian. (We met him when our paths crossed!) Stephanie has worked as a guide for Rick Steves' Tours for over 20 years and her experience and relaxed personality was the perfect fit for our group. She also leads other tours besides Sicily and we hope to connect with her on a future trip to Italy. Thanks, Stephanie—you're the best!
Mojca Sostako
Mojca lives in Slovenia and has many years of guide experience. She is now in the process of training to be a lead guide for Rick's tours so she jumped onto this tour as an apprentice. It was easy to befriend Mojca and hear her stories and recommendations. She paired well with Stephanie and was a wonderful asset to our group. You will be in good hands if you find yourself on a future tour with Mojca as your guide!
